Bead locked CCW Classics
I'd been on the fence about adding a beadlock to my CCW Classics. After talking things over with my chassis builder we both decided that at my current level and setup I've got to be rotating the rim in the tire so I bit the bullet.
On Friday morning I drove down to Exstreme Fab in North Haven CT. As promised they installed the beadlocks in about an hour while I went and grabbed lunch.
As its a 16 inch setup I went with the Ultra-lite locks to keep the weight increase down as much as possible.
Here's the ring welded on the rim, and you'll see the reliefs to help with the weight. Every edge is finished and smoothed too.
The ring has also been relief cut, and you can see the knurling on the inner side.
Here's the finish product. Super quality job, and the total cost for two 16 Ultra-lites in black was $850. Not cheep by any means but very reasonable once you see what all is involved. Just waiting on some High-Tack for the inner bead to mount things up.
