Default Any other Bias Ply drag tire option?

I'm looking for a drag setup for the track. I've researched the heck out of this deal and it seems I need to be mounting up a pair of bias ply tires on my 575+/- rwhp '02 Z06. I've also researched the heck out of tire options, but it seems that nobody makes a 26" tall 10.5/11.5 wide 16" or 17" bias ply drag tire. I've got several sets of 16" and 17" wheels that will work on the rear and can seemingly easy enough, come up with a set of bias ply skinnys for the front. But all I can find for the rears are the 26x9.5-16 MT's or the 28x10.5-16 Hoosiers. I don't think the 9.5's will give me the traction I crave and the 28's are just to tall.

Am I missing something here? Anybody got any 26X10.5-16/17 bias plys in their garage?

I've also emailed them, hoosier and M&H and no one seems interested in making one either.

Yeah I have no idea why they stopped making them. Guess you manual guys need straight slicks.

m&h does have this one if you're willing to go more narrow: https://www.summitracing.com/parts/mnh-mhr172/overview/

I found and am leaning towards these... http://www.jegs.com/i/M-H/676/MHD-03/10002/-1

...but the 16" F-body wheels I have are only 8" wide. I've got the F-body 16x8's, as well as, C5 base and C5Z wheels, but in 17's, of course.

Anybody run these? Opinions?

I was trying to get away w/o having to buy a set of expensive wheels just to use for track use only, which realistically would only be a few times a year....

I'm assuming you running an auto? The MT's have my interest if you're willing to part with them. I'll be in Central Thursday...

Yep it's a auto. I haven't made a pass with the bias ply yet I want to try them out before I decide to sell them. One of my m&h have a tiny leak in the from hitting something in the road.

That's cool! I can probably come up with a 16x9.5/10" wheel and give the M&H's I linked to a "spin".

The M&Hs will be very similar to the MT bias ply ET Streets.

BTW- I have a used set of MT 26.0x11.50x16 MTs in my garage. They have been 1.40 on my old setup. If anyone is interested, I will sell them.

They look great. Did you have to modify your control arms for the 16" rear of these to fit?

Slight modification was needed on the knuckle.
