Default Question on an equal powered exotic Vs a vintage Corvette?

So I'm just curiously playing around with this thought just for ***** and giggles.

Say I have my 1975 Corvette and a Ferrari 458. Also say that my Corvette has a gear ratio of 3.73 and a good 5 or 6 speed transmission.

Both cars would weigh 3,400lbs. The Ferrari would have 562 HP and 400lb-ft. My Corvette would have a sueprcharged 454 which makes 600hp and 600lb-ft. My Vette would also have large grippy tires.

Would the Ferrari win by all that much if I managed to grip off the line? Would the Vette accelerate faster due to more torque? Do all the electronic control systems make that huge of a difference to you guys think?
