Default C6Z tire and rim setup for 1/4 mile

What's the best setup out there for a stock car ( other than a borla exhaust)?

I'm planning on making a few passes and want to know what others have done as far as drag radials. Does a smaller rim fit in the back? Are Nittos better now than they used to be? I struggled with Nitto drag radials in the past and did better with BFGs with an LS1...

Ideally I would think it would be best to get a smaller rim in the back if it fits and put drag radials on it....not sure what fits or what's best?

I'm assuming you are drag racing a C5 Corvette. If so get a pair of factory C5 Z06 17" front wheels. Mount a set of M/T 275-40-17 drag radials on them and go racing.

They'll fit, you just need to make sure the wheel weights are on the inside of the barrel so they don't hit the brake caliper.

The 315 Hoosier will fit on that rim and work better in my opinion.

Better off with used OEM.
They are much lighter and will definitely clear.
