Default Building a C3 , front Sway Bar Question

Building a C3 for the 1/4 mile . Working with a 1980 frame. I'm at the front sway bar. Do I use the thick heavy stock 1980 or do I use the thinner lighter one from a doner 1973 or do I leave it off all together ?

I would leave it off if it is going to be a strict quarter miler.
