Default Wheel Hop On Launch

I have a 2016 Stingray Z51 A8 with stock Michelin SS tires that I've had to Bradenton, Florida's drag strip twice - during April 2017 and March 2018. Both times, I used the following procedure:

- Rear tire pressure - 24 PSI.
- Track mode.
- TC off.
- Hard 5 second burnout 1st / 2nd gear - manual shift.
- Launch from idle with TC off and transmission in auto mode.

I took four runs during the April 2017 outing. Details follow.
- Car had 4,500 miles on odometer.
- DA ranged from was 900 to 1,450'.
- Launches were good with no spin.
- 60' ET's ranged from 1.72 to 1.78.

I took three runs during the March 2018 outing. Details follow.
- Car had 5,800 miles on odometer.
- DA ranged from was 600 to 900'.
- On runs #1 and #3, both in left lane, had severe wheel hop on launch with 60' ET's of 1.84 and 2.02.
- On run #2 in right lane, had no wheel hop but slight spin on launch with 60' ET of 1.81.

I'd appreciate any thoughts on the cause of wheel hop.

my first thought is it is NOT wheel hop - rather it is drivetrain shake. same problem that plagues C5s and C6s. Unfortunately I don't know of anyone who makes a brace for it yet.

I would also ditch those tires and get some actual track tires if possible.
