Default Advice for 1st time Drag racing a 2015 C7 Stingray

Hay Guys and Gals! Just purchased a 2015 Stingray, 2LT C7. This coming Wednesday, is Midnight Mayhem, at the Las Vegas Strip. All street cars. This will be my first time making passes. Like some advice on Mode settings like, Track or Sport will work well in the 1/4 mile. Good practice for off the line, like running 2K RPM at launch, or rolling launch would be better a newbe. Any general advice using the C7 to get off the line, and make a good run. I'm not going ***** to the wall on my first night. I'm looking to get track runs safely, and improve. Look forward to racing monthly at this event. If any Vette people are going to the event, would love to meet up with fellow enthusiast.

First Post. Thanks!

Is it an auto or a manual?

If an auto my '15 z51 a8 car does best just smashing it off idle. I've gotten some 1.55 60' times like that on a 26" radial.
