Went to the track yesterday for the first time in the Corvette. 2012 A6 with Borla axle back, Diablo 93 octane tune, and NT05r DR’s.
Did 4 passes between 12.21 and 12.33
mph were 114-116
60’ were from 2.05-1.95 with short or no burnout.
Obviously with a better 60’ I could be in the 11’s.
Temp was 53 and sunny, minimal track prep, opening weekend test and tune.
Any tips to lower my short time? Tried leaving at idle and 1200rpm.

No. Nitto NT05r drag radials. Two passes with no burnout, one with a short dry one, and last was s short one in the water.
Will warmer weather help in hooking better?

So you were spinning? If so. did you drop your tire pressure? I know my Nittos when I used to run them, would like larger burnouts.

2 tenths is a lot to pick up. In the summer you will slow down due to weather, best chance for a good ET, is in the winter.

Brought rears down to 25 psi. Didn’t know if I could go lower without computer issues.
Yes, tires did spin a short time.
On a concrete road they will dead hook though.

I have a 12 gs a6 with nitto drags as well and your car is running about right where it should. These cars will not 60' foot. You can lower the air pressure as much as want without worry. Wouldn't go lower then about 18psi. You shouldn't have problems hooking unless the track is awful. Mid 1.90's is all I could get out of my car under ideal conditions. I just put in a 3200 converter and had it tuned. Hope to get to the track this weekend.

Same plan here. Either a SS3400 or 3600 from Yank, long tubes, and a CAI.

wont going too low on tire pressure cause a problem with stability control, hurting power?

Turn it off and you won't have any problems. I also have a vararam and dyno tune and can hit 119 mph but only 11.90's. Along with the converter I also added 1 7/8 headers. Will keep you posted how I do.

I am very happy with my SS3600. Best 60ft was 1.48. I was cutting 1.5x on my 305/35r19 nto5r at a good prepped track. Do not worry about the psi. Drop the pressure down, you can still turn off traction control. If you are having trouble holding the burn out, You can always pull the abs fuse. I think my Nittos used to like around 16 or 17 psi cold.

No burnout for street tires.... drag radials need to be heated up. Mess around with tire pressure. Start at 18-19 and go from there. If spinning drop it some
