15” x 12” Single Beadlock Billet Specialties Winlites
The owner of Billet Specialties was doubtful that I could fit Winlites on my C5 but I made it happen. Huge thanks to them, at the end of the day I’m super excited about how they fit. Every wheel was specifically made for me with unadvertised specifications.
Fronts are 17x8 w/5.75 backspacing. 235-55-17 tires. They are a 1 off backspacing they made specifically for me. It did take a little grinding, about 1/4 inch off the factory caliper to get them to fit without spacers. Without grinding, a 1/4 worth of material, spacers are required.
Rears are 15”x12” w/8.50 backspacing, also a 1 off backspacing. Tires are 28”x 10.5 M/T full slick. Naturally it took an LG 15” drag spindle kit and Corvette creationz quarters to fit nicely. I’m still working on the ride height.. I did use an 1/8” spacer because the inner wheel was resting on the spindle. Now it’s an eyelash away. I’ve also got Strange brakes on the rear. I doubt 15” wheels would fit with factory calipers. Just like most 15” conversations, a little grinding is needed on the lower control arm
