Can it be done? Will it bolt on?

What is needed? i.e. what intake manifold?

Will "normal" flow coolant flow thru the heads/engine?

Thanks for any info.

Anything can be done, but you're looking at way too much trouble. LT1 heads and intake don't work on earlier small blocks.

If you are handy at welding aluminum it should be no great deal, other than the amount of time to do all the work - other people have already done this conversion when their racing class restricted them to the use of "production" car cylinder heads.

All you need to do is weld plate aluminum in the reverse flow passages and open up the traditional small block cooling passages. Your TPI intake manifold passages will need some massaging to line up with the raised roof/runner of the LT1.
