My 383 C4 Goes 11.41 @ 125 on 92 pump gas & dana 36!!

Just got home from the dragstrip tonight! (famosa in bakersfield,ca) Made two passes
1st: 11.59 @ 124.15 - 1.92 60 FT
2nd: 11.41 @ 125.00 - 1.84 60 FT
I couldnt be happier with tthe MPH! I was squeezing a 150 NX wet kit. I still have the Dana 36 /w 3.73's and stock 1200 (literally) rpm stall converter. Im leaving on nitrous WOT with zero spin, no converter is killing me out of the hole, but keeping the rearend from breaking.

Good for you!!! Glad to hear all is well.
I'm going to be following in your footsteps soon and "SPRAY" my L98. I'm hoping for the 10's at say 124 or so with a "SMALL" shot.

JD: By small im guessing 100-150 shot??? I feel very safe with a 150 shot....stuff starts getting tricky when you start going into big shots (200+)

I put slicks on it and squeezed it out of the hole...instead of just end of 2nd gear on...dropped from 2.1 60 fts to 1.9's be squeezing off the line...with zero spin

Good times, esp with your (relatively0 slow 60' times. Why does your signature say 3800 stall if your converter is stock? Also, be careful about spraying at too low an RPM. Remember, the nitrous and extra fuel come out at a fixed rate, so if your RPM's are low, there's a lot of it going into the cylinders for each firing, that's where the danger is!
