Is anyone out there running a paxton supercharger on a c-4.....seems like all the mustangs are running them but I don't see a kit on there web site....are they any good?......thanks leadfoot
Been there done that ...........I just bought a paxton novi 2000 on ebay for a 88 to 92 camaro and am looking for some help, it can't be too far from a 85 corvette installation, I just have a few questions....thanks leadfoot
The novi 2000 seems to be a some what decent blower compared to paxtons earlier models.
Paxton and Vortech also did a merdge recently. I dont know if this means you need to send you Paxton to Vortech to be rebuilt or what ever.
Also I was looking at Doug Levin's stuff for the vipers, it looks like he uses the Novi 2000 on his set ups, although I guess it could be the Novi 3000.
you can check out his web page here. http://douglevinmotorsports.com/
Thanks for the post bill........the paxton novi 2000 I bought is new so I'm not worried about a rebuild and I'll know were to grab the mounting bracket if I need one thank you, the novi is an 8 lb model and I'm at 4500 ft. elevation how much boost am I going to loose, maybe I need a smaller pulley and before some of you chime in and say a novice has no buisness with a blower, I can read a book and with your help and $ maybe this venture will be sucessful.this is a great site for information, thank you all.......leadfoot
P.S. This set up is going on my 85... 9.5 to 1 compresion...stock....looking for 6 to 7 lb boost
Your going to need the bracket. The camaro uses a different bracket then the vette. Carroll has the paxton brackets on sell right now for $325. Everything else in the Camaro package should work.
