Default Frankenstein c3

Now, this is probably going to sound crazy...
I'm a huge c3 fan, love the looks, but I'm also a man who always needs to radically change things up. Because of this, I'm beginning to make some very 'unique' plans. Long story short, I am almost 100% sure i want to drop a v12 into my dream 68' vette (which I don't own, and probably won't be able to get for at least a few years).

Something about v12's that makes me cling to them. There's just one problem; I know nothing about their nuances, how to build them, or even where to go about planning and designing one. What's their usual rpm range? Average life expectancy? (A minor one but) Gas consumption? What are the differences between a v12 from a v8 (besides # of cylinders)? Also will one even fit?

I'm sure there aren't a ton who know a lot about them but I'm hoping. If anyone knows anything or knows anyone, that's what this thread is here for.

TL;DR I want to put a v12 into a 68' vette but i don't know a lot about v12s or how to do it

Extra info on build(that i also don't know how I'm gonna pull off):
-modernized suspension with airlifts
-modernized interior (most likely similar to c7 interior)
-7-speed manual trans swap
-(maybe) wide body kit
-bluetooth stereo with 12in sub
-soundproofing for sub (anti-rattle)
-sidepipe exhausts
-scissor doors
-hardtop convertible (if not already)

Mines sort of a Frankenstein C3...

A BMW all aluminum V12 modded with a 3 stage dry sump to fit the frame.
I fabbed up a custom intake and run Jenvey ITBs
Got rid of the twin distributors and running 12 LS coils
Using Megasquirt MS3 Pro ECU
Custom bellhousing and hydraulic clutch - BMW flywheel with a Chevy clutch connected to a Tremec 5 speed.

Suspension- Vansteel coilovers all the way around

As far as the interior- I sort of went
"period correct" and copied a late 60's Lamborghini Miura.

Here's my build- I've been messing with it for years and hope to finish it up for next summer!!!

Richard,

That is one of the most unique and well done builds I have seen. I have been watching your posts from when you started and you truly have a wonderful machine.

Thanks for posting and letting us see your work.
