5.3 crank kit sources
looking to stroke this 02 5.3 for my truck.
Cast kit is fine, nothing fancy needed. 24 tooth reluctor I believe
Any sources out there, dont keep up on the ls stuff much.
Hoping to build more tq and still pass smog. 6.0 cores go for too much out here.

i would just build it as is with some 4.8 flat tops and do a high lift low duration cam like howard cam 190315-14 great for a truck and wont chop so you will till pass smog

what do the pistons do to my CR?
Cam looks nice not sure i want all that lift, need the guides to go a good 100k springs too
what kind of gains would you suspect?
I dont want to rebuild this if it feels the same but only picks up a hair up top
