Just out of curiosity, does anyone know how well Mopar Indy heads flow
I have a buddy of mine that has them on a 493 in. Wedge motor. I am curious how well they flow. He does 123.5 in the 1/4, pretty fast car.
We raced twice, and the Rat powered Vette pulled away from him
:D :chevy

Ratt,
Sorry, I've heard of those heads but don't have any specifics on them. I just wanted to say- Yea baby! Go

The Indy heads flow real good 300+ cfm on the intake. Did you run your buddy from a roll or from a stop?

We were both around 3000 rpms in 2nd and went untill I hit the rev limiter in 3rd (6500). We did this twice and at the end of it I had nearly a full car length on him.
He is running a Hemi 4 spd with 4.10 gearing.
I am sure he is making more power than me, but I weigh less and I have a Richmond 6 spd with a 4.40 effective gear ratio. My car shifts much better also. That tranny and gear ratio really helps.
He was pretty surprised when the Vette pulled away from him, you know how those Mopar guys are. To his credit he went back and told all his Mopor buddies that he got beat fair and square, twice :D
