Help with C6 with bose aftermarket head unit

Hello, I'm having trouble getting any sound out of my speakers with my new headunit to my factory bose system. I'm using the RP3-GM11 adapter because I don't have steering wheel controls or anything special on my 2005 and it said it works with bose systems. I've used two different headunits and still nothing. The light lights up on the adapter. I have all the wiring I believe correctly hooked up. I've got the correct powers and grounds. I did hook up the blue/white amp turn on wire as well. Both headunits power up just fine too and I can start to play but no sound. The first headunit was hooked up in my Jetta that I have a 5 channel amp in so I've used the pre amp outputs in that. I don't know what I'm doing wrong or what needs to be done.

I did check the amp turn on wire voltage and it's 11.x volts (car turned off) going from the head unit to the adapter but only like 9v coming out so I thought maybe that was the problem and jumped it over so the bose amp saw more voltage but still nothing.

I can plug the original headunit back in and it works perfectly fine. So can anyone help me out of what needs to be done if there's some trick to these bose systems. Thank you

Edit: after doing some testing things, I thought to just pull off the pac adapter and jump over the amp turn on wires and I have sound. Now what I did was clip the two blue wires to bypass the module itself, it will play music but then plugged the module back in and then sound cuts out. Started looking again at the car pin out and see there's a amplifier mute wire. So I saw which wire that connected to which was a black/white strip wire that connects to the module. I do not see any information on the instructions about a mute wire but I decided to try and cut the wire and see if it was telling it to mute. Cut the wire, the module is lit up, chimes work, sound now works but there's an awful background hiss from the speakers. So I'm not sure if the adapter is bad or what but it will work just fine without the adapter plugged in but with it plugged in, it's telling it to mute and then it hisses when you cut the mute wire so I'm not sure what else to try to get it to work without buying a new adapter which isn't cheap all for it to ding at me when I open the door.

I have a 2002 coupe with the original Bose stereo. It has the CD option but no multi disc changer. I’m looking for an option that allows me to play my iPhone music, - either via Bluetooth or a wire connection. I’ve tried the FM adaptor that goes in the cig lighter socket but was not impressed with that approach. And I don’t want to swap for a new head unit.

If you know of a solution that is easy to use & provides excellent sound quality, please lmk.

Recently installed a new headunit (Sony 9000ES) with a PAC RP5-GM11 interface with stock Bose system. When the engine is running I'm hearing a whine from passenger 3" speaker that changes with RPM. Have not been able to get rid of whine.

I unplugged alternator, added a chassis ground from ground wire on PAC, disconnected rear camera, nothing works. Crutchfield hasn't been super helpful so far. Have a new PAC interface on the way but not feeling very confident. Anyone have any advice?

Update: Issue still not solved. Changed grounds around, messed with wiring, unplugged VCIM, new PAC, replacement headunit. Sick of keeping my car down so I will throw it back together, and sometime in the future I will redo the whole system with a new amp and low level/RCAs. I'm suspecting problem is either the amp or the amp ground.

As a temporary solutiom I have connected the signal connector (on amplifier) to the power connector (on amplifier) but this give a constant power to the amplifier which can drain my car battery.

How can I wire a proper signal connection from bluetooth transmitter to amplifier, so that amplifier will turn on only when I power on the bluetooth transmitter? I don't use car radio, just a bluetooth transmitter powered by USB.
Suggestions appreciated, tnx

Okay, I have a Kenwood nav unit, Jl audio C2 3.5's for the upper doors, infinity tweets for dash corners, C2 5.25 separates for behind the seat. Also have alpine Kta 450 50 wattsx4 to drive the speakers. I've also purchased RF R2D2 10" subs to put in the doors. With sounds good block off plates to enclose the doors. Now to the question. I have an extra KTA 450 that I can bridge to 100 watts per channel for the 2 10's rated for 100-200 rms in the doors. Want opinions on if that's enough amp or if I need to go to a large mono amp for the subs?
Let me know what your thoughts are and why. I don't want to lose any space in the car as we want to travel in it next year when the wife retires.
also not looking for car shaking bass, just good quality rounded out sound for 8 hour a day drives. Thanks to all who respond.
