Does anyone know the relationship of rear camber changes to toe in on the rear wheels of a C2? In other words we change the rear camber from 1 degree negative to O degrees camber. What amount does this change the toe in (or toe out) ? Seems there would be some effect but does anyone know the approximate (or exactly) what the toe setting would now read. I am guessing there would be a change to more toe out? Any idea how to quantify that number? A head scratcher!

Hi Members,

I have been working with Powershift (Larry) on my '64 Coupe factory A/C 327/300hp. I need to loosen the two fittings at the expansion valve so that I can change out the o-rings but both fittings (one from the dryer line and the other go to the evaporator) won't come loose. I sprayed PB blaster few times on them and let sit overnight but the fittings still won't come off. Larry mentioned that I should try Kroil penetrating oil which I will. I hope this will work. It looks like my expansion valve and STV are original. Have any of you run into this problem before? Thank you in advance.

Most of the screw holes are stripped and the filler is stripped as well. Both access panels appear to have been glued on I have no idea what the black tar-like stuff is in the middle. Any recommendations on cleaning this up and repairing the stripped screw holes? The passenger side is in similar condition.

1. The door window weather strip has split buttons that need a touch of lube and pre squeezed before install.
2. Dont install the rear track until the glass is on the regulator rails.
3. Each of these strips are fragile and expensive.

Now the question remains, which side of the weather strip faces in. The small or large molding trim.

The small trim is shown towards the top of pic. This one fell apart out of the packaging. I understand these can be had in two pieces. the rail with trim and the fuzzy.

I'll be pulling the cluster to replace the under dash and engine compartment wiring harnesses. With my old memory, I don't want to pull the cluster until I've got everything here. I'm trying to get ahead and order up some parts that would be nice to replace while it's apart. I've pulled my steering column, and there's that crusty foam gasket in behind the column bracket. I bet there's a bunch of other little items similar to that one that could/should be replaced.
Any one have a list of stuff they replaced when they had their cluster out? It's a non AC car.

I was planning for a 2000 mile roundtrip with my 64 C2 from Belgium to Saint Tropez in the South of France. I wanted a holder for my iPhone that looked (to my eyes...) a bit more elegant than most aftermarket items. So I designed one myself for my 3D printer. The assembly simply slides about 1/2 inch deep in the gap between the station selector buttons and the surrounding radio bezel. It's designed to be a snug fit. Just tight enough so it does not move, and loose enough such that taking it out is a 1 second operation. And the car remains untouched. I am now back from my (fabulous) trip, had not the slightest problem with the car. And the holder did exactly why I made it for, mainly for navigation.
