with all due respect and not trying to be flippant.....who cares? The camaro won't , as usual, be even close to the vette. You can bet on this.
The Camaro will go for huge adms just like the stang gt500s. People will get fleeced. The car, like all camaros will depreciate like a rock.
It will need huge suspension mods to even stay on the same track as the vette.
Otherwise...if they build it any better ..it would compete too much with the vette and cost too much ( actual cost not adm cost ) to build.
I mean. at the end of the day it will just be another camaro. Nice car for a certain segment of the populace.
ps. I don't care for the concept car at all.

Melting Slicks
me... I can't stand "Retro"...
I would have prefered to see the Camaro as a younger brother of the Corvette (modern look), instead they made it into the Vettes grand dad (retro look)... And, its another reminder of how GM is a follower in this class of cars - they followed Mustang back in the 60s and they're following it now. IMHO if they built a modern, sleeker Camaro they would have killed the moldy looking Mustang and finally show that GM can be inventive.
