Default Crazy Camaro Pricing!

Stopped at my Local Chevy dealer where I bought my ZR1 and spotted 2 new camaro's. They were the 6 cylinder models but what I could not believe was they had a $5,000 "market adjustment" for them.
As if it's not already bad enough for dealerships!
Go figure.

Yeah, the same at my local dealer.
Idiots, GM is falling around them and they're still trying to screw people. You would think that they want to get them on the road for people to see and experience. I know people will pay MSRP but that's not good enough for them.

... the ZR1 comes with an INSANE mark up, 5k isn't bad at all in comparison.

If the "market adjustment" is $5,000 for a 6 cylinder Camaro model,
what would it be for an 8 cylinder?

There is nobody that is going to pay over sticker for a V-6. They could drive to any other dealer (like me) and get it for no more then sticker all day long.

A new V6 model already sold in a showroom here in town was going for roughly 28,000. Seemed a little high to me then again I don't know all of the stuff put into the new Camaro.

Always happens when a new model comes out, even in this economy.

I've never paid MSRP for any new car and have no intention of doing so no matter what the car is. Those that are willing to pay the extra are entitled to do so. They're just cars, you drive them.

Gm is going to close a bunch of dealerships... it's going to be us with the last laugh on dealers like that when they go bye bye...
