Not all that enamored with the new Camaro period! I think they missed the mark on styling, Their attempt to have retro styling hints just didn't make it. Profile,,OK,,front and rear view! IMO the Mustang did much better in modernizing the retro look!! To each their own,,not gonna knock them,,just wouldn't really want one. NOW,,if I won a 427SS,,I COULD grow to love it!!

The car itself I like... However the markup on the car from dealers is just brain-numbing. Dealers are asking $10k over MSRP. Sorry but I will just never see a Camaro as a $40k+ car. I've sat in one and yes trying to see behind you is terrible. The only styling point I don't like is the rear of the car. I think they shouldn't have made the C-pillar extend so far. The original looked to have a bigger notchback and I liked that. Plus the square lights I liked.
For a Camaro, I'd rather build an actual 69 then buy a new one. Hell you can get the originals for FAR cheaper and do all the customization you want.

The Jay Leno one is getting 425HP out of the V6 so I wouldn't exactly call it a waste of money for those that want to tinker... Or for those that simply want an everyday driver...
I personally won't invest in one when I can get brand new '67 or '69 steel from Dynacorn and build a brand new true retro version but that is just me...

Exterior looks great but who designed the dash ? Where's the Nav option ? Why does it weigh so much ? As awesome as the Caddy DI V6 is that's a lot of weight to move. At least we all have choices.. Mustang, Camaro, or Challenger. Let's enjoy while we can.

The SS looks OK in bright red but that's because I can't see past the bright red. The Challenger looks great and has better visibility but then it's not a real Pony car either. I do prefer the Challenger and may actually purchase one just for the heck of it.
