I read somewhere that the three stylist who designed the 'New' Camaro were all foreign students. So I assume that John Cafaro, Jerry Palmer and Chuck Jordan have all retired or moved on. They were the designers of the C-5, so all new designs come from a new 'Transformers' movie geeks mindset . . . and it shows. The dodge Challenger in my opinion a 100% better looking. the dodge sits right up and looks you in the eyes. Better lines as well.

The car itself I like... However the markup on the car from dealers is just brain-numbing. Dealers are asking $10k over MSRP. Sorry but I will just never see a Camaro as a $40k+ car. I've sat in one and yes trying to see behind you is terrible. The only styling point I don't like is the rear of the car. I think they shouldn't have made the C-pillar extend so far. The original looked to have a bigger notchback and I liked that. Plus the square lights I liked.

For a Camaro, I'd rather build an actual 69 then buy a new one. Hell you can get the originals for FAR cheaper and do all the customization you want.

And judging by their recent history, it'll be the 1973 Malibu.

I personally won't invest in one when I can get brand new '67 or '69 steel from Dynacorn and build a brand new true retro version but that is just me...
And what would that same "tinkerer" have with a 6.2 with that much power standard?

If the Leno car is making 425 at the wheels then it would be very much different than a stock LS3 Camaro.

Exterior looks great but who designed the dash ? Where's the Nav option ? Why does it weigh so much ? As awesome as the Caddy DI V6 is that's a lot of weight to move. At least we all have choices.. Mustang, Camaro, or Challenger. Let's enjoy while we can.

The SS looks OK in bright red but that's because I can't see past the bright red. The Challenger looks great and has better visibility but then it's not a real Pony car either. I do prefer the Challenger and may actually purchase one just for the heck of it.

If you're gonna buy a musclecar, it HAS to have the rumble to go with the persona that only a thundering V8 and throaty exhaust can provide.
