Who cares about the Z28 being canceled. Just buy a Camaro SS & send it to LPE for a 650 package or more & you're good to go.

Excellent point, Musclecar6! The new Callaway Camaro is awesome, also.

Or if you live where I live, you just drive it down the freeway from the dealership and drop it off at Hennessey's. They will put in a LS9 modified motor for ya..

The Z/28 shouldn't have a big motor with supercharger anyway. It should be an itsy-bitsy V8 turning 9500 RPM. Leave the big motors for the SS.

I knew I wasn't going to be winning any stoplight to stoplight drags with my old 69 Z/28. But regardless, I loved that DZ302 to death. It was a wonderful little engine and that's what gave the Z/28 it's character.

Default maybe not

According to the August 2010 Motor Trend sitting in front of me, the Z28 is back on according to VP of Global Vehicle Engineering Karl Stracke. He laso said they won't repeat the "mistake" they made in the current Camaro's interior. With lead times of two or three months for magazines, who knows how accurate this information might be.

How convenient that you left off the "question mark" at the end of the statement?

How about "next gen camaro to get 440 hp 5.5 liter small block v8 like next C7 corvette?"

Kind of takes on a different meaning, don't you think?
