Default Anyone have any leads on a good 1970 - 1973 Camaro body shell?

Debating on whether to keep moving with my 76 or buy a 70-73 shell and transplant all my parts to that? I have a complete new interior including console, dash, headliner, carpet, door panels and so forth. I also have 17" rims, new tires, and a 5.3 swap on a restore subframe / suspension.

My 76 is completly gutted to a bare shell and I keep toying with the idea of grabbing a 70-73 body from the firewall back...heck I don't even need the doors or trunk lid. I don't need the suspension either..

Anyone know of anyone with a decent body shell I can grab for less than $1000 with a title?

I hope I can find something soon....be nice to do a early 2nd gen.

Other than the 5 MPH crash bumpers, and the slightly different shaped rear window of a '76, I don't see the reason for moving back to a '70-'73.

yeah I'm still fighting with it, am drawn to the looks of a 70-73 with the smaller bumpers and taillight design.

I like the look for the rear of the ealier 2nd gen w/o the spoiler.from roof line to bumpers....smooth lines.

Working on my 76 right now, just replaced the quarter skin, drop offs, and wheel house on the drivers side, and getting ready to start on passengers side.

Either way I'm wanting to paint my 76 some sort of silver color with black hood stripes...the silver seems to make the bumpers dissapear and flow more with the car.

You can graft the earlier tail panel on the the later body design. Its not too hard and turns out OK. I wouldnt go big bumper in the front, and early 2nd gen in the rear, wont flow well. Big bumpers are sexy, I vote to keep them. Heres my car at a race yesterday:

Yeah, Like I said I'm fighting with it, I think once I get a little farther with my 76 I may think otherwise. I have all the parts to finish it, and all I need now is my time. I mean the interior and engine is going to look mint when done.

I found this picture on the web of what i would like my car to look like in the end:

This is what i started with:

This is what it looks like now:

Here's my engine:
