Default New motor for the 68 Camaro

I built this 1968 Camaro in 1987 from a sand blasted hull and last year I signed it over to my oldest son. I originally built it for him when he was 16. He's 43 now. At present it has a 468 big block with about 600 hp. I never had it on a dyno. My son had a 505 big block with a 871 BDS blower recently built for it. We had the motor dyno tuned a few weeks ago. Here is the final dyno chart. It was tuned on 93 pump gas and only recorded from 3000 to 6500 rpms. It was built with 8.5 compression and has the new Brodix 'Big brodie" heads and twin matched holley quick fuel 850 blower carbs. How does the dyno numbers look?

A blown '68 sounds like a very good plan to me. The numbers look pretty darn good too.

The engine was mine. I built it for my '66 tube axle Mustang (classic gasser style). Before the the Stang was ready for it my wife said, "Say that's a nice engine and I like your green Camaro too." Out came the 383/five speed and in went the 6-71/ Turbo 400. She enjoys reminding me that HER car can kick the butt of any of my cars. Life could be much worse.
