Omg, and don't let me forget about the early marketing literature for them touting the ability to sense a cam change and adjust for it automatically. Yea, right.

Just like every other used car they have a depreciation curve. They are at the bottom of it right now for some of the reasons already mentioned (Opti, LS1, etc) but they will get more expensive as time goes on. There is just not that much of a market for a 20+ year old car that can get outrun by a minivan. That is not meant to be offensive, but time and technology moves on.

Can I assume that's the parking area at your house? Seriously man. I'd love to have parking like that.

I ask because I see no harbor freight strap hanging from your front suspension and I'm sure you didn't drive to an event without that thing breaking down.

Someday I'm going to get the stuff to work on mine. I read on the internet there's LT1 tuning software and with programmable modules, you can alter the Sd tables. It's likely my car already has that. I've got a "Tune" in it, if you will. One of those mail order deals where you tell them your specs and they take a shot in the dark for the speed density tune. It's so bad that the stock tune actually is closer. It learns the LTFT so bad, that after about 2 weeks of driving, you need to disconnect the battery and reset all that. It's awful...

It really needs a wideband connected and actually set it up. I've got that, the PC, and the know-how. Just don't have the software to actually datalog the car, modify the tune and get it uploaded to the chip. Nor have I the time or desire to screw with it lately.

What minivan can run mid 14's?

Keep it that way. The only stock part in The Ghost is the ZF transmission and the rear calipers (because Wilwood doesn't make any) . Once you mess with any geometry everything else doesn't align correctly.

Right now I'm dealing with catalytic converter, I failed smog, but just no a fail. The report says "Gross Polluter" Had to buy two new CA-Cats and that was $900. I guess that's not bad considering the OEM cats were 23 years old.
