This 1999 Trans Am arrived to us from Alabama with just over 15,000 original miles on the odometer in search of not only more performance, but also a better sound! The owner of this 4th generation T/A also has a 1969 T/A in her garage in a matching color and sporting a 400ci small-block engine, and both vehicles are displayed at car shows side-by-side when she’s able to get them both out. However, the stock 1999 car just did not have the same attitude and sound that her first-generation car offers. For this, we put together a combination using the @Kooks 1-7/8” longtube race headers with their full true-dual exhaust system that would replace everything from the cylinder head to the rear bumper on the car with stainless steel performance tubing, mufflers, and tips. This setup is by far the nicest fitting and sounding exhaust system on the market for the 4th gen cars and really set off the attitude of this particular vehicle. We left the intake system and rest of the engine alone for this round of modifications, and even with those items still being stock saw an over 20rwhp and 20rwtq increase from the stock power level on our chassis dyno! This car will definitely be back again in the future for more upgrades and look forward to seeing it back in our building soon.

I have this setup on my H/C 1999 Camaro SS - fully agree that there isn't a better exhaust system for 4th gens!
