Haha, super busy. And the youngest is keeping us up at night lots still, ugh
Found a property that is super private. Can't see it from any road, even in winter. 10 acres, larger house than our last, but slightly less garage space - hence the lift so I can still get as many vehicles inside.
Oh and last time I'm moving so long as I'm breathing - never again!

Had the car out for about a 40 mile cruise. Ran flawless. Shifted perfect. Handled great. AC kept me cool as a cucumber. After driving the Viper as much as I have I'm just not "moved" by the SS anymore. It's a great car but I think some of the charm of the Camaro is the whole build process. Other than brakes there isn't much else to do. The ONLY thing I would do is change the cam, something more mild and mid range focused. It would be a great DD at that point, well, other than the NT-01's dealing with rain. lol

I'm not actively looking to sell it at this time. But last night I did contact Tony Mamo and talked through potential cams. Something a little more mild in terms of duration with less overlap. We'll see. I may take it to a shop to get some fine tuning done and see if we can make it work. My Viper tech has a group he uses and they also are the support for a local Trans Am driver who has a Viper and they do all his track stuff so might give them a shot first before I tear into it.

Good idea to change up the cam for more mid range RPM power over the top end. Will be far more enjoyable to cruise in.

A guy on FB 4th gen groups is selling power steering kits that upgrade the from the stock 4th gen plastic pulley and plastic reservoir to a C5/C6 pump with a remote mounted reservoir. Ordered one yesterday with an aluminum reservoir for $190 US which I thought was very reasonable. Comes with a metal pulley as well.
Search Nick's F-Body Power Steering Fix if you're interested, might save a fire from starting in your 4th gen.

It's pretty simple. Use a C5/6 power steering pump, remote mount the reservoir. Pulley is steel instead of plastic which is the cause for most fires (breaks and cuts a line or cracks the reservoir, hot PS fluid ignites in the engine bay).

Just changed the oil and took her for a ride. Anyone interested in adding a SS to their collection? Don't have to sell but I drove it 200 miles this last year.
