I have a new weatherstrip kit for a 1985. I would like any information or pointers to help me do this right. The car was taken apart (rubber gone and trim already off) when I purchased the car so I don't have the advantage of the "just reverse procedure" trick. First, what type of sealant should be used on the metal trim? In what order should the weatherstripping be done? Does a website exist that would describe this operation? Any help or advice will be appreciated. I don't want to mess this up.. Thanks in advance..
