Dark blue shock color
I said blue, but they could also be grey. I've seen it both ways, so that should be my first question:
What determines shock color? Are they always grey, or blue on Corvettes and grey on Impalas, or what's the deal? Does F41 matter?
I won't be running spirals because I actually want a modern gas shock, but I'd at least like them to be approximately the right color.
Does anyone know of a color that's a good match that I can find locally, like a particular engine dark blue or late model touchup spray? I can find the grey no problem, but I was sure my originals were blue for some reason.

Model year? Gray is typical for GM Delco shocks. The NCRS Judging Guide for the model year usually lists colors.
