Default Plug wire dating relative to the engine

If my engine is dated 12-20-68 and the car is dated April 9, 1969, what should the wires be dated?

I was thinking 3-Q-68 but am not sure when the wires are actually pulled and put on the motor.

The plug wires went on in St. Louis, so I'd be leaning toward 1st quarter 69.

In general on original cars they contain several different dates yours could have had 3rd or 4th Quarter 68 and 1st and 2nd Quarter of 69 or other combinations.
