Yeah it was, I made many mistakes. it's going to take a few times to learn this car.

1st I ran way to early, I should have waited but I really wanted to ride with Alex since it was his first autocross ever. I asked and they wouldn't let him ride with me and I couldn't ride with him till our runs were all done. I totally disagree with that policy. I've never been at an autocross in the NE that didn't have instructors available to new drivers, it’s very frustrating when you have no idea what is going on out there and no one will help or will allow anyone to help you.

2nd I played with traction control, big mistake it totally ruined one of my runs

3rd I ran in 1st gear the last two runs, I know better then that I should have been in 2nd.

The rest was me learning the new car on a very tight course, can't wait to see the results. I wish I could run my C4 and Z back to back I'm thinking the Z should be a second or 2 quicker.

Driving the Z on Sunday reminds me of when I first drove my C4 I was all over the place not smooth at all.

I agree, we have a competition meeting tonight I will suggest that we allow newbies to ride with more experienced people just to get a feel and see the course. However the policy on not letting the more experienced guys ride until after their runs are complete is to keep them from getting a preview of the course then going out and running. So I think the one way should be allowed, but the other way should remain as it is.

If you guys need a hand with competition let me know I'd like to get involved, I was the co-competition director for BSCC for two years and president for 4 years running all our auto crosses.
