What a PERFECT day to kick off this event with the 90 freaking degrees and sunshine like its August! The turnout should be FREAKING HUGE TONIGHT! I will be easy to spot with the only 1970 Green & Black Dodge Charger there!
See you guys there I plan on arriving by 6PM to get a good place to park!

I don't think I'm going to make it. I wore myself out at a convention last week and I feel like I am coming down with something.
I had a mini Vette meet this morning at Addison Alignment with ipmtim and another forum member with a white C4.
See you all on Sunday.

Sitting first in line, side by side on Rt. 83 and North Ave going north. Light turns green and off we went
He got me but it was pretty close, shut it down at about 130-140.
My friend Andy, Mike and Mikes friend were trailing behind us so we had 5 cars doing triple digits

You guys are out of control PETE as that is where some of ELMHURST's finest hangout! Next time at the show I will make sure I give you guys some of my business cards! As we speak I am filling up my wallet
It was the PERFECT SUMMER EVENING and the car show was great and got Steve McMichael's auto- graph and the MAYOR launched about 10 cars! If the launches/smoke show continue this is probably the best car show in the area bar none!
It was great seeing all those who showed and hanging and shooting the sh it!
1. TIM (IPTIM)
2. PETE Z06
3. GLENN (BATMAN)
4. MVR 155 (MIKE)
5. KEITH956 (KEITH)
6. Dude (can't think of his name b/c met for the first time with the black C6 Z06 SWEET VETTE)
7. PETE/MIKEs buddy in the Black Z06
8. JASON BLUEBLAST
9. And a guest appearance by ZR DON (DON).
Randy Vettes, Carol and MIKEY and JOHNNY VETTES were MIA!
My brother and I had a little fun driving home side by side in his 70 Dodge Challenger (440 six-pack) and my 1970 Mean Green Dodge Charger 440 Machine!

Nice Rides! A good mix of old and new. I’m guessing 200-300 Cars. The following jumped out at me.
The Blue Chevy with the Blower (56?) very nicly done!
The Blue 69 Fastback Mustang
The Black with red 67 Ford Fairlane Ragtop
The Batmobile drew quite a crowd as always
The Blue 67 Stingray Convertible
The Green Dodge Charger 440 big block (whose car was that anyway??)
I’m going to need to take some Pics next time!
What cars did you guys like?
