It will be a good time. Several of my Forum friends from the Toronto area are coming down with their Vettes for the weekend. I met them at the ALMS Corvette Corral at Mosport. Great bunch of guys, hope they enjoy the Mid-Ohio Course. See you there.

Weather is supposed to be cool and clear.

Ya Baby!

Dave ... your buddies from the Great White North are ready for the trek south into the Excited States of America!

Should we bring some Canadian Beer with us?

Mark,

Canadian Beer is welcome at any event. Can't wait to get to the track.

My wife and I will be there both days, and I hope we can get a chance to meet a couple of you folks from the forum. I will have the Polo Green 92 with GS stripes. I'll be cleaning her up today. Enjoy the race!

You will need to purchase a car club ticket at the gate (I believe the will call counter). Tell them you are with the Corvette Forum dot com club.

We are planning on getting up there around 8 or 9 in the morning. I think gates open at 7.

Came in from DE with my sons last night. In the Honda. We'll be there tomorrow for the ALMS race and I'll be sure to visit the Corral and look for some Forum folks!

I've seen ALMS before (Lime Rock) so I'm actually more excited about Sunday's Indycar event. Those things look amazing on TV so I cannot wait to see them run in person..............................

Sorry to bust some bubbles, but the Corral is FULL. Unless you pre-bought your Corral Tickets or Infield Parking pass, you're not getting in. Was down there today, just got home. Even with the "light" crowd on Friday the Corvette Corral was just about at capacity, although plenty of room at the PT Cruiser corral ?!?!

Mid Ohio and/or IMSA REALLY cut back on the size of the Corral. It's about a 1/3 to 1/4 of what it was. Having the IRL there takes up a lot of the infield space that was used for corrals. I forgot to count, but the Corral holds up to maybe 60-70 Vettes.

For all those heading down/up/over Sat or Sun, have a great time. Take a jacket for the am, it was pretty brisk and is predicted the same for the weekend.

I was there for a few hours this morning, but didn't take the vette (had my 2.5 year old with me). Yeah, the corral was pretty small, but the event itself was huge. Cool stuff with Indy and ALMS together.
