I am kicking the idea around idea of running the complete route. Anyone else from the Great Lakes area thinking the same?

I plan to be in Madison for the kickoff, and probably join the run to Racine.
This is a car event like no other, with it being so close again, I wouldn't miss it.
One of these years I hope to do the full tour...

I will not be a long hauler as the Wisconsin NCRS meet is at the end of the tour. I will be in racine for sure. Maybe madison. For those thinking about this get out and do it. In racine in 07 there were about 2500 cars in the rain storm. This is a huge must do event for car guys. There are a lot of after our partys and racing going on.

Thought about it for a few years now. Seems like a totally unique time! I've heard nothing but GOOD about this tour.
Do you have a link to the details?

I know my Dad has been crowing about going this year. His car took 2 years to complete, so he's chomping at the bit for something like this.
I'm still torn on it though. I had considered taking my Mustang last year, but it really sucks to drive with the drag suspension.

We are updating the "Darth" Denali to ~850 HP to do the long haul, The owner is bringing his sons and their friends. He has been talking about doing this for years and finally commited. Something about a "bucket list"

I'll be starting out in Madison for sure! Haven't decided how far I'll go yet. It's an amazing event. I went for the first time last year, and will NOT miss a Power Tour if it's in the Midwest!

I ran the complete Long Haul (Milwaukee to Kissimee, FL) in 2005. It was a great experience! One day another guy with a C4 and myself took an alternate route from the group and spent about 15 minutes strafing through the hills of Northern Alabama at triple digit speeds (not recommended or endorsed). At any rate I will be on the Madison to Racine leg myself this year.
