Default Tested an 01 Z06 today

I did a photo shoot, inspection and test drive at a Cadillac dealer today on the East side of the state. Looking at the car for a Houston Forum member.
DAYUUUUUUUUUMMMMMMMM! Me likeee those Z06s!
Friggin thang is fast and handles like a slot car.
Might hafta get one a those babies some day. This one was in 9.9 condition out of a 10 and had under 40,000 miles. Sweeeeeeeet heart of a ride!!!!!!!!!!

And just imagine, that car is 8 years old already. How times fly.

I'm seriously leaning towards a C5 Z06 for my next one. Sounds like the one you drove was a nice one.

The dealer bought it at auction in the "show me" state. It was a 2 owner. I thought it had aftermarket tips on it but the salesguy said one of his back room dudes polished them up. Looked just like stainless steel.
I told the prospective buyer to remember lovin on that great girlfriend he still dreams about and let him know that driving the Z is almost as good as doing it with her.

I still love the C5Z even with all the C6Z hype, I still love the C5FRC look...I am seriously considering one when I get rid of my C5 coupe. Slap a blower and some headers on a C5Z and not much will be faster and look

I think they were asking 25K but the prospective buyer offered much lower than that. He was leaving for a business trip to Paris so I am not sure if they took his offer or not. Will know more when he gets back.
Rough job, having to fly to Paris on business!
Me jealous.
