Default Reputable alignment shop around metro Detroit area?

Hello folks,
Did any of you know of a good, reputable alignment shop around metro Detroit(preferrably somewhere around Troy, MI)?
I've been going to Belle Tire, and I'm not too impressed with the work they do.
Any feedback would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

I personally had very bad experiences with after market tire shops (Belle Tire), and I won't go into the long, painful protracted story...but bottom line, I take my car to a GM dealership for all my tire and alignment issues.

I hand picked my mechanic, (Ted) and they call me the "crazy Corvette lady" becuase I'm so **** retentive about anyone working on my car. I highly recommend Rodgers Cherolet in Woodhaven. Roberta is my permanent service rep, and Jerry is the repair shop manager. All three are top notch people, mature and have alot of experience. I trust my car totally in their hands (and that is saying ALOT!).

I know it's not in your area, but if you want someone to work on your Vette and feel good about it, Rodgers Chevy is the place to go.

I hope this referral helps!

I really appreciate your help!
Yeah, it is kinda far from where I live/work, but I have a friend in Monroe, MI. so I'll make sure to drop by when I go down there.
Again, thanks for the kind reply.

Auto Tech on Michigan Ave. at Telegraph. On your way to Monroe. They have the latest electronic alignment equipment and do an excellent job at reasonable price.
I have used them.

I've always used Slim's in Eastpointe. They are an alignment as well as hot rod shop. They certainly know their way around Corvettes.

Default allignment.

Belle Tire @ 8722 W. Grand River Brighton 48116 ph.# 810 844 0390 . This shop was refered to me, from another corvette owner, when I lowered my car over a year ago. They did great work and they have a pit and won't screw your wheels up .Ask for Ralph or Joe. Good luck.

Go to Belle Tire on Rochester Rd just north of Auburn next to the Borders Bookstore. Ask for Ryan. I just had my car in for related services and they did a great job. No scratches on the wheels or anything!

Not ALL Belle Tire stores are the same.

Thanks for the tip! That location is really close to where I live.
I've been going to the one on Maple & Crooks, because it was closer to work.
I'll try the Rochester one this I guess. But it's their LAST chance!
Thanks again,

Dan

Off M59 just South on old Utica Road is Jakes Automotive - righteous performance dudes -get it done there - rumor has it a certain forum "doctor" gets the beasties dynoed there1!
Last summer had 95 Olds convertible that just had trouble running -car dealer and auto "repair" shop failed to figure out what the problem was - Jakes gurus of grease popped in a new O2 sensor and it was ready to go!!
Have had other dealings with them as well.

Sounds like a good shop for performance mods as well.
Thanks, I'll keep that place in mind.

I take mine to a Belle Tire for track and street alignments, and provide them with the numbers i want. Never had any problems with the store on 13 & Gratiot, and I'd agree that not all of those stores are the same. What are you dissatisfied with, if i might ask? Damaging wheels, or plain not aligning it correctly? Looks like the BT Zack posted is closer to you.

No damages done, but the place I went to did some poor work in the alignment itself.
On my old S2000, the caster was out of wack and steering wheel not straight.
This time with my Vette, the front toe was not what I asked for(although it was in spec) and again, the steering wheel wasn't straight.
I guess I'll give that Rochester Hills location a try and see how they do.
Thanks again, guys.

Dan
