I will be going for sure!! Leaving Noblesville Friday morning and will be there all weekend. I'm with you $20 for my dad and I to spend some quality time together looking at cars and hearing about all of the Vette's he's had through the years is priceless!!!

I will be staying in Shelbyville, Il at my dad's house.... Being this is my first trip I'm pretty excited!!!

I'm going this year and will be heading over and staying at a hotel with a co-worker. I think my dad will be over with his 99 on Sat or Sun. I am leaving Friday evening after my part time job. When are you leaving? I have the hotel set but have not registered at Mid-America yet, may do that tonight.

I know that some of you have a case of the azz for Corvette Funfest and that is OK, but I am not asking for those of you who are not going for one reason or another to post here. I am asking for those of you who will be attending Corvette Funfest to post. I will be there with a car in the car For Sale area.
I know that a lot of you posted last year that you would not go to Funfest because they now charge for the event. Well let me see, what Corvette Event don't charge? Well Carliale charges, Bloomington Gold charges, Chevy Vette Fest Charges, all the local car shows charge, hummm who is it that puts on an all Corvette Event that last three days with FREE entertainment on Sat. night and gives you a discount IF you buy items from them. You get a couple of Tee Shirts, hat pin, poster and other things? Guess I will be going to Corvette Fun Fest. If I could not afford the $25.00 they charge then I should not own a Corvette. It is not Mid Americas that raises the Hotel prices, it is the Hotels that do that. Heck they do it in St. Charles, Carlisle, Bowling Green, or anyplace that they hold a large event of any type, not just Corvette Events.

The display and ceremony will take place at 3pm on Saturday 9/18/10 during Corvette Funfest. If interested, please email your contact information with your year and model of Corvette to deb.beasley@mamotorworks.com
If you have a yellow Corvette and plan on being at Funfest on Saturday afternoon what better way to honor the troops!! They will be using 50 or so yellow Corvettes to layout a yellow ribbon. Some may remember the aerial view a couple years ago when they celebrated their 35th Anniversary. If you are interested in helping them out contact Deb Beasley at the e-mail listed in Mike's post.
