Ain't happening any time soon. I know the Lefties drool over the concept, but there are too many level-headed people in TX to allow that. Interestingly, we just redid our kitchen. Mostly Hispanic workers. They ALL seem to be for DJT. Tells you where the Dem party is these days.
Okay, but de-nile is in Egypt.. really does no good to extoll the virtues of some other place when others literally are trapped and have no easy way to just exit the state they live in, suggesting basically, they can just hop a train like a hobo with no responsibilities and leave town. . We get it ... Illinois sucks, but that changes nothing for the people suck there does it? Just tends to make us angry and does not help a thing reminding us of our situation offering no real tangible solutions..

Ain’t “de-niling” anything; just saying it as it is. IL sucks; you said so yourself. Whether or not you move is totally up to you. You may think you have too many reasons to move, but what that really says is that for you things aren’t bad enough to move - else you would have. That’s a personal decision, but saying IL. sucks isn’t - it’s fact. AND it gives those of us who DID pack up and leave, justification for doing so.
So I’m sorry you’re stuck in that hole. BUT for me, I’m glad to be rid of the place.
Okay once it get's bad enough for me to loose money, blow off jobs, family, friends and just walk away I will let you know... bad enough has nothing to do with it... You don't live here so why bother with us poor folks in here? Be happy wherever you are and leave the misery to the ones in here living it . There is the regional section for Texans if you were not aware...
