A church in Canton is trying to get an annual car show and picnic off the ground, if you're bored stop by.

Sunday 8/27, St Joan of Arc on Tuscarawas (Central Catholic High School) 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

$10 per car gets you lunch for two adults and childre... wait you can't get kids in a Vette Probably hot dogs, burgers, church-lady side dishes, stuff like that. Sounds like they have some judged trophies and door prizes, 50/50, and a $2000 raffle.

This Friday night is the August Jack Maxton cruise in. A Chevy only show. Several of us will be there as always. Show runs from 5-9 pm. Hope to see you there

Oct 1 Colo's Classic Car Show at the Columbus Zoo will have a guest appearance of Dave Kindig of Bitchin' Rides. Also, I am working on getting a shelter to park under, out of the sun.

I remember taking my then 12 yr old daughter to this event who danced for hours to the music, great memories. Today leaving to bring her home from college to be home for the weekend. Enjoy your kids while you can, they grow so fast. Enjoy the car show and take your kids

I know I will whenever I can. We have had a great weekend together. I miss this little one when I am on the road, and take advantage of the nice weather when we can. We did not enter or sit around all day at the YAS (Youth Advocate Services) show in Hilliard, but we stopped by and enjoyed ourselves.

I believe Pumpkin Run Nationals begin September 29 in Owensville, OH just East of Cincinnati. One heck of a show every year

The Arthritis Classic Auto Show this year is July 5-7. I have been to everyone over the past 8 years, its a great well organized show. If this year is like past years, Corvette Forum members usually like to attend on Friday morning arriving around 10 am and staying the day with some coming back on Saturday. Friday evening they award 100 6 foot trophies and the live music is always terrific! Keep in touch here, we will be easy to find and you are more than welcome to join us
