Illinois help looking at a c5
I'm fairly certain this is the correct area, but is there any chance I can get someone to go checkout a c5 in lake bluff Illinois. I live in Nebraska so I can't exactly go look but I am hoping once I get my loan to drive there and get it very soon. So I would like someone to go check it out for me if at all possible and get back to me on their thoughts. But if someone has a spare moment to go look at the car for me that would be very much appreciated so I don't get screwed on my first corvette!

Have you Googled the VIN, sometimes that provides extra info?

Got a few people willing to look at it, one guy is only 10mins from there so hopefully he can get there and check it out. I really hope my bank gets back to me like monday so I can go get it next week! Can't wait it's driving me crazy, probably not a good thing either haha. Thanks for the help y'all are great!

Don't fall in love with the first one you see and don't let that dealer know you are hot for that car!
Are blacked out tail lights legal for you (easily removed)? I'm not sure if the BBK throttle body is any great shakes. The Magnaflo's will certainly be louder than stock! This car comes with only the clear top?
Will this car be your daily driver or just for fun?
There are 11 with less miles within 500 miles of you and that is just from one search site.
I assume you have looked at the for sale section here?

Haha that's great. Thankyou for all the help man. I'm going to probably run to my bank monday or tuesday and get all the info I need and hopefully get it this week. Weather permitting. I gotta find a cheap car rental place from Omaha to there, enterprise is like $300.
I'm with you. I'd check out some other cars before making a decision.
