Did I miss a chance to see and visit with the infamous DAHogan?

I had to spend my time this morning replacing some front struts, shocks, and rotors:

I will be out of town next weekend, but I am sure we will see each other again. Safe driving everyone!

I drove all the way from Hocking Hills and left after 30min or so. talked to another guy at the red light (that I followed out) and even he said it was stale. don’t think I’ll go back...

As Ohio Event Coordinator for the CF, I used to encourage people to come. We always had at least 10 corvettes and several CF members. Last two years I just didnt have the time. Perhaps now that I have retired, we can get this event back up to speed. Next weekend will be tough b/c of father's day. Keep in touch, always looking to meet other corvette owners and CF members.

I know the local NCRS chapter is going to have their pop up tent and some donuts this Saturday. It is posted on their website as an upcoming event: https://www.ncrs.org/hoo/events.html

They use this as a fundraiser for one of their charities that they support.

I heard about it a couple of weeks ago from the gentleman that has the red '65 convertible. Unfortunately, I am out of town this weekend and won't make it.

The venue is not the best IMO especially since Cup O Joe closed but also a lot of competition with car shows and other events this time of year. Just a parking lot with little to no shade and no place to grab a coffee or bagel. I will try and stop by for a bit this Saturday.

There were a few Saturdays that the lot was packed. And I mean all the way from the arches to the last row over by the restaurant. The first few drivable Saturdays after the salt is washed away and the temperatures come up just a bit seem to be the best. Once you hit the summer (Memorial Day Weekend) it thins out as people have other obligations.

But like others have said, the Cup O Joe closing didn't help. There is the Starbucks inside the B&N store, and I'm not sure what will be in the new place once it opens.

It is still typically a good time with a wide variety of vehicles. And that is what I like about it. It isn't just one type of car or group. One week it maybe a lot of Mopars, the next week, Porsches, the next, Chevettes. Then you get rare cars from Model T's to brand new supercars.

I have been some weeks where there have been two others that showed up, but I don't let that deter me and still get out when I can. It is good to pedal thru the gears and get out

Hoping you get a response! My 68 is almost ready to go for frame blast, weld repair, & paint/powder but I'm still looking for a place to take it.

Hey Axiumrocks! What kind of service are you looking for? Just a tune up? Paint? Body work? I haven't used too many shops around CBus as I like to work on my cars myself, but I have visited a few shops and most with good reputations and always willing to give a tour of their shop and abilities.

Give Scott Whipple a call. He is the owner of Corvette Care in Powell, OH.
