August 4. Hannibal, MO: 6th Annual Poage Chevrolet Buick/Mark Twain Corvette Club All Corvette Show. Rain or shine event held on Main Street, Downtown Hannibal. Gates open at 8 am with trophy presentation at 3 pm. Registration from 8 am to noon, judging begins at 10 am. Class awards for first, second and third places for all generations – coupes, convertibles and modified. Special awards also. Pre-registration by July 21st is $20 and includes show T-shirt. August 18: Olathe, KS: Vettes on the Plains Show (previously Vettes on the Square show), sponsored by the Kansas City Corvette Association. Held at the Great Mall of the Great Plains, Exit 215 on I-35, 20700 West 151st Street, Olathe, KS 66061. Registration from 8 am – 11 am, rain or shine event. Judging begins at 11 am. Pre-register by July 31 for $25; after August 1st registration is $30. Every car receives an award, plus specialty awards to be given. Proceeds help support Camp Quality. August 18. Gray Summit, MO: 3rd Annual 40 & 8 Charity Car Show. Located at Purina Farms, 200 Checkerboard Loop. 11 am until 3 pm. Pre-registration $15, day of show (9 am till 10:30 am) $20. October 6. Ozark, MO: 6th Annual Car and Motorcycle Show, sponsored by Friendsindeed (charitable organization). Held at Lake Hills Church, 5101 Towne Centre Drive, Ozark, MO. Registration is 8-10 am, with show times of 10 am - 3 pm. Registration fee is $20 day of show, and you are requested to bring a canned food donation. Car must be ready to be judged by 10:30 am. No specific Corvette classes but they do have classes by manufacturer grouped by a year range (i.e., GM cars 1978-2007 stock (or modified). Three awards per class as well as other specialty awards.
