Default Kwiklift for sale - St. Louis Area

Selling my KwikLift --- New Garage (high ceiling) and 4 post lift 

Lift is about 5-6 years old and has been used mainly for parking but have changed transmission, starters, exhaust, oil changes and ????

Power coated Gray and has a few scratches from above work.

You can no longer buy Kwiklifts new so this is the only way to get one - they were a privately owned small company ran by one guy, now out of business.

New with jack lift tray, power coating and wheel chocks they were about $1300-$1400 depending on shipping cost.

I’m asking $750 local pick up only.

Includes:
  • Lift
  • Jack Tray
  • Chocks
  • Ramps
  • Wooden Ramps (homemade)
  • Original Instructions (Manual)

PM or Email me

George

Below are pics of actual item(s).

Why do you need the front wooden ramps?

If you lay flat for parking you need them to drive UP on.

Kwiklift provided instruction to build.

How much of a pain would it be to daily park a Cadillac STS on them? I'm really interested, my wife probably thinks I'm nuts but it would make my life easier, I'm just concerned about the ease of use for the garage on a daily basis.

When in the lower position - no problem with the wide ramps.

In the inclined position - at first takes a little getting use to but then becomes routine. Pulling on is easier than backing on. But again with ramps being 16' wide no big deal.

Over the past 5 year I've always had something parked on it so I don't see any problems parking daily driver.

Good,

Sounds like I just purchased a kwik lift. George, you will receive the check this week.

Thanks, been wanting one of these for awhile, and my wife didn't even bat an eye.

That's always good!

Mike, Congratulations on buying it.

I bought one a couple of years ago and have used it for a lot of things.

It is easy to park on too. So far I leave mine up and just park on the incline. The first time or two I was anxious about pulling up on it, but it becomes routine and not a big deal. One thing that helped me in pulling on is to put a 2x4 block at the point where I want the front tire to stop so that I don't go to far and hit the spoiler. Then when I pull up the lift, I can just go until I feel the block and it is in the right spot every time.

Hope you enjoy it.

I have a really big favor to ask of either the buyer or seller here? We just bought a 5000# Kwiklift here locally (in Oregon)... The seller was the son of a gentleman with Alzheimer's who owned the lift, so we got the lift and nothing else but a bag of bolts (ie, no documentation). It was put together and we took it apart and I understand it's use, but I'd REALLY, REALLY like a copy of the instructions that came with one of these! I'd be happy to pay for copies and someone's time, getting it together...?

Thanks,

Kim
