Default C-7 at Autobahn Country Club

Was invited to participate in a test drive of the new C-7 ,Z51 corvette at the Autobahn north track. All I can say is wow. The car is a natural on the track, handled and braked with ease. I drove the manual all three times and the rev matching feature for downshifting was awesome, made shifting mindless. Kind of wished I tried the auto just to feel it out, but the manual was effortless in both clutch and shifting..The power was about equal to my modified C-5, but everything else blows the C-5 away. The seats held me with no sliding around with just the shouler straps, in the older car you would be all over the place without the 5-point straps. I needed more time to digest all the features on the inside of the car but was able to get it into track mode and adjust mirrors and seats before heading out. In the back straight I was hitting about 110mph and the brakes held up well. It was tough getting into the "old" C-5 for the ride home. For 2015 there is going to be foward pointing camera in the rear view mirror to record track or whatever, with an app for tracking software, so cool. I give the C-7
