There are several CF members who now live in Columbus but came from Dayton that attend that show each year. You all should GTG.

Should I be sorry to revive this old thread that didn't get much traction? I have some time off tomorrow and I would like to do a little longer cruise, so I am thinking of heading over to Dayton for their Cars and Coffee. I know the forecast has pop up showers and isolated thunderstorms in the forecast, but I might just chance it. I will have to check in the morning to see where some of those storm cells are.
So Dayton, is the coffee any good? I went once last year and didn't get any coffee, but got to watch some fitness challenge that was taking place.

Ok. This thread deserves to be just as active as the Columbus chapter of Cars and Coffee. You guys have a great thing going on over there at Austin's Landing. The area is nice, it is easy on and off access from the freeway, and hearing some of the cars take off is a lot of fun to hear.
I get the feeling you guys start earlier than us too. I got there just a bit after 9am and it was not impossible to find a parking spot, but most of them were filled. And you guys have just as wide a variety of cars that show up.
The day started off with waking the co-pilot up at 7am to ask if she wanted to go for a cruise to the Dayton Cars and Coffee..... she was all for it.
Once we arrived, we got to see some great cars.
And of course, a lot of great Corvettes.
We passed this one on 675 as we were heading down. A 427, 4 speed, with air!
Afterwards, we took our chances with the weather and headed west for the grandparents. Well, we got caught.
But we let the storm pass over us in Indiana and followed it all the way back to Columbus. It was a great day with the little one, and well worth the trip over to Dayton for their Cars and Coffee. Maybe we should do a Corvette Forum run from Columbus and get together some time.
Safe Travels Everyone!

Dayton Cars and Coffee 8.03.19
I went to Dayton Cars and Coffee this morning. Met a few guys from the forum. Finally got the Flame Orange '76 there after my ordeal with changing out the radiator. Had a good time and saw a lot of neat cars/trucks of all makes and types!
