Chicagoland Vert Headliner Replacement?
Anyone have experience with a local upholsterer or dealer that can replace a convertible top headliner on a 2010 Grand Sport?
The upholsterer I've used for the last 20 years doesn't have experience with this specific job and I was wondering if you all had any ideas where I could go.
There is a TSB available that outlines the R&R and what to repair so the new one won't tear itself up after replacement.
I contacted GM and they told me they would not help since my car is out of warranty even though the car only has 17k miles. Local dealer said he never done one but thought he could get done for a crazy price, no dice, he's not going to learn on mine.

Bill Jacobs Chevrolet (back when it was still called that), farmed my 2008 out to Riggs Brothers in Naperville when I needed my liner replaced. They did okay on mine, can't tell any difference in it from the factory one that tore. They also did the TSB, basically put the soft side of an adhesive backed velcro strip on the parts that were rubbing a hole in the liner. It has worked so far.
I had a bad experience on a Camaro top many years ago at Mr. Trim in Downers Grove. Can't recommend them.
