Detroiters: which dealership do you trust working on your car?
I'm looking for a competent, qualified Chevy dealership that has the right people to work on Corvettes. Detroit area. Thanks

No.
Stanford ripped me off by lying to me about one of my cars, never go back.
I dropped my car off at Feldman for an oil change which I figured they could not screw up. Came back covered in soot, not dirt, soot 2 hours before I was leaving for vacation. I don't mean a couple of spots, my white car was grey.
They washed it after I mentioned it, but then never dried it, just drove it back in dripping wet.
I have had decent luck with Bowman Chevrolet. They have 1 guy that works on Corvettes. They have not always fixed my issue, and only overfilled my car once but they store it inside, it is well taken care of and when completely dissembled and put back together it was rattle free and like original.
They did my screen replacement plus has to completely disassemble the drivers side door. Car was spotless every time and always stored in doors.
Since the supercharger install I take it over to Jake's Auto in Sterling Heights since they did the install. Not much if left under warranty now so I've had them work on it and I do trust them to work on it and drive it.

"In honor of jpee"
I can second the reference to Les Stanford for service and even give you a name: Service Asst. Mgr., Michael MacDonald (http://www.lesstanfordchevrolet.com/Meet-The-Team).
And, in case some didn't wade thru to the end of your last thread where you mentioned your poor experience at another dealer, I quote you as that dealer being Ed Rinke Chev. Your relatively bad experience with them is summarized in the thread (https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...ld-you-do.html).

I bought my car from Marty Feldman but have had all service (oil changes and minor warranty/recall work) performed by Buff Whalen without incident. Service writer Jason Crager has been great for all work performed on all my Chevys.

I've had Hamilton and Bill Fox work on cars. Bill Fox did my C6 warranty work. No issues with either.
I'm not a fan of Les, Buff, or Mike Savoie (closest to my house unfortunately). I have heard good things about Matick.
I'll more than likely take my C7 to Moran even though it's far away (30-45 min) because I ordered my car there and they seem to have a nice service facility.

Kind of on topic but Suburban Ford of Ferndale has a Silver 2006 z06 for sale. VIN : 1G1YY26E265107453
I called a contact at another chevy dealer and they found history at Hamilton Chevy in Warren and then previously it was from New jersey. Anyone know the car or know how to track down information if the heads were addressed?
