Corvette Funfest @ Mid America Motorworks
Sept. 14th - 17th at Mid America Motorworks will be having there 24th Funfest. This year the theme is the 50th birthday party of the 67 Corvette. They are going to have one Coupe and one Roadster of each color produced in 1967 on display. So with the 10 colors built that year there will be 20 1967 Corvettes on display that weekend for all to see plus the Road Tour that will end up down town Effingham. There will also be the concert on Sat. evening that is always great to see and hear. Hope to see you all there. Oh, my 67 Sunfire Coupe all original with 15,400 miles will be one of the 20 on display that weekend. So if you are planning on attending you should try to get your Hotel room ASAP while a few still last.

shark jumped when they started charging us admission.
"We" the owners are the ones spending the money and drawing the huge crowds in. And they make us pay to do it? Was a yearly trip. never gain. Just my opinion.

I don't like paying either, especially when all they do is push their own product...but they do have costs built in and it makes for a nice one night trip with my son. The t-shirt I figure is 10 bucks of the cost anyways. I will say the hole "chief cheerleader" thing is nauseating.

I will be heading over for the weekend in my new 2017 Grand Sport. Helps I have our houseboat to stay on at Lake Shelbyville only 30 min away. Plan to void my warranty that weekend..

No matter where you go, you pay. Whats the big deal? It is a great weekend and there are major costs involved to pull this off. You buy a Corvette than complain when you have to spend a couple of buck to attend the biggest Corvette show in the world? I will be there all weekend. It is a great time and we have met many great people over the years.

Corvette Forum Parking
Is there reserved parking for the forum this year? I remember in the past there would be something to print out and put in your windshield.
