I stayed for the entire route.
Had a great time & met some great people.

Yeah, the car got a little dirty from the rain.
But it's nothing a little detailing can't fix...

And a special "Thank You" to Mike Mercury for the DVD's from previous years.

It was good that the weather held off as long as did. Had a good time and Tim thanks for the dvd's.

I ended up bailing to make a parts run to Cleveland. Too good of a deal to pass up. Had the weather forecast been better I would've gone after the tour. Heck it was cloudy and sprinkling when I left here at 10:45. Stopped and talked to Jeff on my way back in. Sounds like it was still a good turnout and a great first half of the tour. He said it was the only time in 20 years they've had rain. That is nuts!

road tour, it picked up a bit.
Where did you get the count of 200 corvettes? I was there for about an hour and left just before fhe drivers meeting to beat the rain home. At the time I left I'd estimate there were far less than 100 Corvettes there, and many were leaving. Are you being overly optimistic or did you have an actual count? Appeared to be the worst turnout I'd ever seen because of the impending rain.

The number was obviously lower than 2016 due to the weather.
I know we picked up over a dozen during the drive to Caesar's Creek and there were another 6-8 waiting for us when we arrived.

When we were leaving for the trip back (after our 20 minute layover), there were 20-30 pulling in that I don't believe started out with us.

I'd say 200 is a fair estimate...

I asked Jeff when we got back to Restoration Station after the tour what the attendance numbers were and he said 123 or 124. Last years (2016)turnout was 333. Unfortunately, the weather played a huge part this year. Still, it was a great event.

If Jeff is going by the numbers on the siignup sheet then even those numbers are high. A lot of folks (myself included) signed up to get the route sheet and the left before the raIn started. I think my original estimate of less than 100 that actually drove the route remains pretty accurate. Too bad too, because without the rain it would have been huge.

I'll be talking to Jeff later today; he should have the final count.

124 cars registered. Some didn't go on the road tour part.

I don't know where I got the "around 200" part, maybe that was a head count (and not a car count).

We drove to the halfway point, then went home from there.

a little late to the party but definitely was a fun event in spite of the rain. The route was a lot of fun. Such a great experience especially being new to ohio. cant wait until next year!
