Today, Saturday, the Vette rested in my garage as I blasted to Valpariso University in Valpo IN in my 2021 Shelby GT500, to go to an excellent car show there. But tomorrow, Sunday, my 2019 ZR1 and me and GOD will blast off to the HUGE Memorial Day Weekend Car Show and Extravaganza at the Sandwich County Fairgrounds in Sandwich, IL. I highly recommend this car show to everyone here, this is like its 55th year in a row for this show (and my 3rd in a row) and each year draws about 700 cars and thousands of people walking through, it's one of the best shows of the year paying tribute to all of those men and woman who paid the ultimate price for our Freedom.

Spent a gorgeous morning with 40 or so people that I have at least one thing in common with.

Perfect day for for enjoying your ride and friends, unfortunately I got to dust it off with the leaf blower and doing over due yard things. The good thing is the pool is ready and a whopping 72 degrees.
Tomorrow, Memorial Day, more yard stuff and say a prayer for all our fallen soldiers.

On this very special day in which we pay tribute to and remember with our deepest gratitude and love all those men and woman who paid the ultimate price and died for our freedom I blasted off with GOD to the huge Memorial Day Car show in the Georgetown mall in Woodale, IL, where I am currently with my 2019 ZR1 as I type this. There is no fee for this show and its one of the only ones going on today, so if your reading this and want to go to an excellent Memorial Day car show swing by at it goes until 4 pm and there are probably 150 cars here current with plenty of parking spots available.

On this beautiful day given to us by the LORD I blasted out in my 2019 ZR1 to the huge car show that was celebrating the 70th anniversary of the Corvette at a huge 400 plus acre Park in Big Rock, IL, just 40 minutes west of the west suburbs of Chicago, I-88 West takes you right there. This was a great show where I am still at as of 1:47 pm that I highly recommend for anyone interested in going in the future. Sorry I don't take pictures but I know Bob Quicksilver Z will post some later on as I believe he is hear although I have not run into him yet.

Nice picture of my ZR1 thanks for posting. I'm surprised you did not stop by to say hello you must be mad at me. Lol. Don't tell me also I was on my laptop or phone when you took this picture either because a picture tells a 1,000 words and you can see me standing up to the left of my car with my back to the camera when the picture was taken, so don't be be giving me excuses for you being unsocial in your younger age. Lol.

Yesterday
Did the Triple Nickel with 12 other Corvette owners. Route 555 leaves south of Zanesville, Ohio to the Ohio River. Its 62 roller coaster 2 lane miles with nothing but sharp declining/inclining turns and multiple hair pin curves winding thru numerous steep valleys and hills. The road was a challenge and so was keeping up with the C8 Z06 in front of me. Highly recommended.
