the white stuff fell here in Grand Rapids. 1-4 inches on the ground depending on where you are, with some more on the way over the weekend.

There are threads here about that, it is the BCM (body control module). May be the excuse I need to go C7

Could be the end here for the season. We are expecting an inch of snow tonight and they sprayed a lot of brine already today.

Was in my Mustang GT today and was discouraged to see that my local bank had a lot of salt thrown on its parking lot (for just a few flurries that fell a couple of days ago, greedy snow plow companys!).
With a possible inch predicted over night looks like the Viper will rest this weekend and depending how much salt is thrown down Mustang be done for this weekend also. If not a lot of fresh salt gets thrown down overnight, the Rustang stays out b/c it's way funner then driving my 2006 Escalade with the Stang's factory 3.73 gears, manual tranny, Recarro Seats and 435 HP 5.0 Coyote Engine.

Well we went further into December than most winters, it was fun while it lasted. Blasted out to Cabela's in Hoffman Estates in the winter machine 2006 Caddy Escalade. Sure doesn't take much snow 1/2 inch for them to throw a TON of salt all over everything. Too much salt even for the Rustang.
Hopefully we are back in action sooner than later.

Awesome Deb, I am jealous, and the Red ZR1 and Z06 look great!!
Man there is a TON of salt all over the place. Until we get a good rain or the salt dissipates a lot the 2006 Escalade has taken on its role of full time winter daily driver. Once this salt clears up then the 2016 Rustang will see a little action again, Viper totally dormant now.
I guess it is December in Illinois, huh.

Safety Car
My Z06 is away for the winter up on the lift. I actually just took my Summer wheel/tire setup (19" pilot super sports) off my S4 and threw on the winter wheel/tire setup (18" Blizzaks). I had been driving my Denali since it got super cold and the white stuff started flying. Needed some 400HP Quattro therapy!!!!!

Too nice out today for the winter daily driver.
46 degrees and sunny on December 16, simply awesome! Blasted out to Gat Guns in the 2016 Mustang GT and shot a a bunch of 9mm, both pistol (Glock 19) and Carbine/Rifle (CZ Evo Scorpion, what an awesome 9mm Carbine that weapon is).
Was a great weekend driving the Stang on Sunday blasted out to the West Suburbs and went skeet shooting (my game is steadily improving skeet is a challenging sport when your new to it) and then BLASTED out to Evanston in the evening to celebrate my Dad's 89th Birthday.
Little salt powder isn't going to keep the 5.0 Mustang GT down and out when its in the mid-40s and sunny in the middle of December!

This Tuesday's weather was hard to beat, 49 degrees and sunny on December 19th, gotta love it.
Got the 2016 Mustang GT a nice car wash and she is ready to cruise the rest of the week as the forecast is for dry weather.
This VERY easy December (and easy November) really helps get a great start on making winter go by that much faster.
